Terms of Service

These terms create clarity about our services, your rights, and our mutual responsibilities, so we can work together with trust and shared understanding.

These Terms of Service govern your use of services provided by Patterns Global Ventures Inc., doing business as Shukla Vedic.

Section 1: Nature of Services

Shukla Vedic provides Vedic astrology consultations focused on:

  • Pattern recognition
  • Practical guidance
  • Tendencies and rhythms
  • Self-understanding

We offer foundations for understanding, not destinations.

We do not make deterministic predictions.

Section 2: Session Logistics

  • Sessions are conducted via Zoom
  • The booking page shows each session time and its time zone
  • Clients must confirm timezone and ensure reliable internet
  • Accurate birth time is essential for accuracy

Section 3: Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • 24+ hours notice: full refund or reschedule
  • Under 24 hours: non-refundable
  • No-shows: non-refundable
  • Technical issues on our side: rescheduled at no cost
  • If we cancel: we reschedule promptly

Section 4: Follow-Up Communication

One brief follow-up question within 7 days of your session is included.

Extensive questions require booking an additional session.

Section 5: Wrong Birth Information

Consultations rely on accurate birth information.

If inaccurate data is provided (even unknowingly), the session stands as completed, and no free or discounted follow-up is provided.

Section 6: Recording Policy

Sessions are recorded by default and you will receive a copy of the recording after your session.

If you prefer not to be recorded, notify us before your session begins and we will accommodate your request.

You are also welcome to create your own recording of the session for personal reference.

Section 7: Confidentiality

Your information is confidential except:

  • When there is risk of harm
  • When required by court order
  • When legally mandated

Inside our business, only Ritesh (practitioner) and Sean (administrative support) see your information. The outside services named in our Privacy Policy, such as Stripe and the transcription and AI tools in Section 9, handle it only to provide their service.

Section 8: Account Misuse

Accounts may be suspended for:

  • Harassment or abusive communication
  • Fraudulent booking attempts
  • Sharing login credentials
  • Chargeback abuse
  • Attempting to access another client's data

Section 9: Use of AI & Technology Tools

We use artificial intelligence (AI) tools and third-party platforms to enhance our services, including but not limited to:

  • Session transcription and summary preparation
  • Chart analysis support
  • Administrative and communication tasks
  • Research and content development

By booking a session, you consent to your information being processed by reputable third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and transcription services). These providers operate under their own privacy policies and data handling practices.

Section 10: Limitations of Liability

You remain the author of your own life.

We provide context and pattern recognition; the choices and actions remain yours.

We do not guarantee outcomes or results.

Regarding AI and third-party services:

  • We are not liable for data breaches, unauthorized access, or misuse of data by third-party AI providers or technology platforms
  • We are not responsible for changes to third-party provider policies or practices
  • We cannot guarantee the absolute security of data processed by external services
  • Our liability is limited to the fees paid for your consultation

We act in good faith and use reputable providers, but technology involves inherent risks beyond our direct control.

Section 11: International Clients

We serve clients worldwide.

Prices are in US dollars. If you pay with a card in another currency, your card provider converts the amount.

Section 12: Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

Section 13: Intellectual Property

All content, interpretations, materials, and insights provided by Shukla Vedic (including session interpretations, written materials, website content, and digital products) are protected by copyright.

You receive these materials for personal use only.

They may not be:

  • reproduced
  • distributed
  • published
  • shared
  • adapted

without written permission from Shukla Vedic.
